Mike started his educational journey at San Marcos Elementary, then went through one of the district's boundary changes and attended 5th and 6th grades at Paloma Elementary.  Next, he went to San Marcos Middle School (aka San Marcos Jr. High) then graduated from San Marcos High School High School in 1998.
