At Mission Hills, our goal is that students pursue rigorous courses that prepare them for the challenges of the college and/or career of their choice. Our AP and Honors program boasts nearly 20 Advanced Placement courses allowing students to challenge college-level courses during their educational career at Mission Hills. We offer AP courses across our departments, including science, math, English, history/social science, foreign language, and visual & performing arts. In addition to these courses, we offer numerous honors courses that help prepare students for the demands of AP classes. With almost 900 students in AP courses this year, we've build an AP program to be proud of, and your children are a great source of that pride.
Hi, my name is Alecia Markgraf and I am our school's AP Support Teacher Leader. Along with Courtney Goode, Principal; Amy Hrin, Assistant Principal; Apolo Rios, AP Coordinatorr; and Kathleen Goldstein, counselor, I support students as they challenge themselves in our AP and Honors program here at Mission Hills.
We offer several supports at Mission Hills to help students achieve success in their AP/Honors classes, including tutoring, mentoring, financial assistance, and more. If you would ever like more information about our school's resources, or how we can help your child succeed in his/her AP/Honors classes, please contact me. We are committed to your child's success and look forward to helping your family take advantage of our amazing AP/Honors program. I look forward to working with you this year!
