Seize Opportunities, Achieve Results
Our PTO hosts several events throughout the year from fundraisers to activities for our students. These events would not be possible without volunteers. Please email email@example.com to volunteer with these events.
Every classroom at SEES has a room parent. Room parents coordinate classroom celebrations, classroom baskets for fundraisers and serve as a liaison with parents and teachers. Contact your child's teacher if you are interested in being a room parent.
Art docents provide art lessons in our classrooms. PTO provides the supplies and the training. Our art docents guide our students in producing beautiful art work on a regular basis. Contact your child's teacher if you are interested in being an art docent.
Our science lab is a hands-on place with lots of exciting experiments. Science Lab Assistants volunteer to assist our Science Teacher, Mrs. Sefl (aka Miss Hippert). Contact your child's teacher if you are interested in being a science lab assistant.
Traffic Volunteers are needed at SEES to keep our students safe during drop-off and pick times of the school day. Our traffic volunteers assist students out of cars, help our traffic move quickly and man our crosswalks. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you can support our traffic team.
Eagle Play offers a safe and fun environment for all students in grades 1st-5th. Our goal is to use a variety of organized games every Monday and Thursday during lunch recess to give the students on the playground another option to be active. We have two coordinators but volunteers are always welcome. If you’re interested, please contact the school office, Robin Porter – email@example.com or Erika Schultz – firstname.lastname@example.orgLibrary VolunteerWith 1240 students, we circulate many books on a daily basis. Please contact our librarian, Diana Sanchez at email@example.com for volunteering opportunities in the library.
Promote grade-level projects in the school garden. Work directly with children and teachers by overseeing ~2 projects a year in SEES’s outdoor-classroom. The time commitment is flexible and includes periodic opportunities to meet as a Garden Committee where Docents can get support and/or help shape the next plans. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
