NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of a public hearing to be held before the Governing Board of the San Marcos Unified School District on June 19, 2018, to receive public comments regarding the necessity to incur bonded indebtedness in an amount not to exceed $4,000,000 within Community Facilities District No. 11 of the San Marcos Unified School District.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, of the intention of the Governing Board of the San Marcos Unified School District to form Community Facilities District No. 11 of the San Marcos Unified School District ("CFD No. 11") for the purpose of providing funds to plan for, study, design, acquire, construct, finance or refinance the costs of public facilities and related facilities ("Facilities"), to fulfill needs for public facilities and supporting infrastructure resulting from development within CFD No. 11 and authorize a levy of a special tax to pay for the Facilities as may be permitted by law presently or in the future.

The proposed project includes the formation of a community facilities district pursuant to the Mello-Roos Community Facilities Act of 1982, to finance and refinance school facilities and may include the sale of one or more series of special tax bonds.
