COVID-19 Dashboard

From October 2020 through June 14, 2021, a San Diego County public health order required all school districts, charter schools, and private schools serving grades TK–12 to report the following information for each school site and school district, if applicable, to the San Diego County Office of Education on or before the second and fourth Monday of each month. As of June 15, 2021, the reporting requirement for schools was suspended.

SMUSD will continue to post all confirmed COVID-19 cases to this dashboard for the 2021-22 school year.

All confirmed COVID-19 cases connected to San Marcos Unified school sites and District facilities will be posted to this page. This unofficial dashboard will not include community-related cases for those individuals who have not come onto campus within close contact* of other students and staff. Only positive COVID-19 cases, confirmed by the local public health department, of individuals who have been within close contact* of others during District-supervised instruction or activities will be added to this dashboard.

Contact tracing will begin upon initial report of a positive case. Please note only the local public health department can confirm positive COVID-19 cases. Cases will be added to this dashboard as we receive confirmation from the local public health department of positive COVID-19 cases. This could result in a delay of cases appearing on this dashboard or a discrepancy between the number of notifications received and the actual number of confirmed cases (when the case is not confirmed positive by the public health department).
This unofficial dashboard will be updated daily by 6:00 p.m. (excluding weekends and school holidays/breaks).

To help prevent community spread of COVID-19, parents/guardians must notify the District if their child(ren) or anyone in their immediate household tests positive for COVID-19. Please contact your child's school directly to report a positive test result.
