Each year CVS Health selects one nominated student from each of the five WorkAbility 1 regions in California to receive the Student Award of Excellence in recognition of their participation in a work experience opportunity at a CVSHealth store in addition to a check for $200.
2016 marks the fourth consecutive year that a San Marcos Unified School District student has won this award!
As a result of our collaboration in the Taskforce and the success of our students in winning this award, San Marcos Unified School District has been chosen by the CVSHealth Workforce Initiatives program as one of only two Southern California Blue Chip partners.
