KOC will hold Winter Camp during part of SMUSD's Winter Break. Camp dates are as follows:

Week 1: 12/29/25 - 12/31/25 (3 days)
Week 2: 1/5/26 - 1/9/26 (5 days)

Please note that the KOC sites and the District Office will be closed 12/22/25 - 12/26/25 and 1/1/26 - 1/2/26. There is no Camp on these dates. 

Camp locations are La Costa Meadows Elementary, Richland Elementary and San Elijo Elementary. Families may only attend one camp location, not split weeks between sites. 

Camp hours are 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. If you use our program during the school year, please note that we start half an hour later and close 1 hour earlier during Camp! 

Cost:
Camp Week 1 (just 3 days) is $144.
Camp Week 2 (5 days), which includes a field trip to Sea World, is $257. 

Camp Week 2 at La Costa Meadows, Richland and San Elijo will include a field trip to the Sea World on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. Therefore, the price for the week is $257, which includes camp care and the field trip. There is no stay-back care on field trip days. See our FAQ's below for more info.
 
Winter Camp registration opens online at 8:00 am on Thursday, November 20, 2025 in EZ ChildTrack. If you use KOC during the school year, you must sign up separately for Camps. All SMUSD families are welcome to enroll for Camp, even if they do not use KOC care during the school year.

KOC will be offering full-day Camp on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of the Thanksgiving holiday week, 11/24, 11/25 and 11/26. We will be closed on Thursday and Friday, 11/27 and 11/28, in observance of the holiday. 

Families may choose between our Richland Elementary or San Elijo Elementary KOC sites. Families will need to enroll for all 3 days (M, T, W). The cost is $144. 

KOC Camp is full-day care from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. The day includes STEM or Makerspace projects, arts and crafts, cultural activities, group games and time for supervised outdoor play. 

Thanksgiving Camp is open to all SMUSD families of students in TK-5^th grade, whether or not they use KOC during the school year. Current families must register for Camp separately from their school-year enrollment. 

Registration will open online in the EZ ChildTrack Parent Portal on October 20, 2025 at 8:00 am.

Students MUST be enrolled for school in SMUSD before they can be enrolled for KOC. Check out our KOC 2025-26 Enrollment page for details on how to enroll for KOC.
