Mission:
The Purchasing Department is committed to providing the highest level of customer service, aiming to effectively work together to ensure that quality goods and services are provided to our students and staff in a timely manner, at the best possible cost. We are always in pursuit of value, excellence, and efficient service for all members of our District.
Purchasing Department Responsibilities:
- Centralized procurement of all equipment, materials, and supplies to be furnished, sold, or leased to the school district
- Generating bids and requests for quotes and coordinating cooperative purchasing through national, state, municipality, and consortium bids to affect cost savings
- Competitive contracting of professional services, including for public works and construction projects
- Oversees district warehousing, mail services, records retention, assets management, and print services
